A Little Bit About Mrs Trimmer

My name is Brittany Trimmer. I am originally from Wisconsin and lived there up until I moved to Yale.

My entire life has been spent in Lutheran schools. I attended a local Lutheran grade school and high school.

When it came to deciding what college I would attend, I chose Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN. I enjoyed being part of a small, Lutheran college and graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Education.

I was assigned to teach in Yale, MI where I have taught at Emanuel Redeemer for the past 9 years. During my time here, I married and now have two young boys with another baby on the way in January.

Teaching at Emanuel Redeemer has been a great blessing these past 9 years and I look forward to more time teaching here.

Goals of Emanuel Redeemer Lutheran School

Our school supports the mission of Emanuel Redeemer Lutheran Church. We exist to assist parents in the spiritual training of their children, to reach out to those who have yet to hear the Gospel, and to provide a high quality, Christ-centered education for our children.

Proverbs 22:6 - Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.

What Past Students Are Saying

"Emanuel Redeemer is a very close knit school. You make relationships in the school environment that last you for life. The Christian education that you also receive in the school day is incredibly important and wonderful for all kids." — Anja Jaeger
"Emanuel Redeemer had a positive impact on my life. The small class sizes gave me the one on one attention I needed to achieve academic success. The faculty's kindness and fun teaching techniques were a major reason why I am an educator today." — Megan Prater
"Emanuel Redeemer is a wonderful school to attend. I should know, as a former student and now soon to be college graduate. The overall atmosphere of Emanuel Redeemer is one of preparation, acceptance, and understanding. The staff at Emanuel Redeemer has one goal, to prepare the young Christians of society how to act and perform in the ever changing world around them. The years I spent at Emanuel Redeemer are some of the fondest memories I have today. They have prepared me for a life filled with the love and blessings of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I would not trade this gift for anything in the world and I am so happy for my parent’s decision to send me to such a wonderful and God fearing school. I would personally recommend this wonderful school to anyone that wishes to strengthen the faith of their children by sending them to Emanuel Redeemer. It worked spectacularly for me and has shown me that no matter what I do or where I go in life God will always be with me, showing me the light. " — Jordon Loeffler
"Attending Emanuel Redeemer created a strong Christ centered foundation early on for me. It helped me grow in faith which helped me later throughout my high school and now college career. The education I received led me to my current college, Wisconsin Lutheran College, where servant leadership is the basis of every class. Every teacher and Pastor I have had at Emanuel Redeemer has been a wonderful blessing to my life. With the Word of God and their servant leadership, they have helped me become the person I am today." — Leah Northrop
"Emanuel Redeemer was a huge part of my education and preparation for high school at Michigan Lutheran Seminary. Most importantly, from K-8 it continued to fill me with the Word of God. Emanuel Redeemer kept me in the Word, strengthened my faith and has given me and all who have been a part of that church and school a solid base to continue as one of Christ's children." — Phil Cole
"I was blessed to be able to attend this school during my grade school years. Now I have the privilege to have my son attend as well. I am pleased that he is receiving a Christian based education where the Word of God is taught daily. He also can be taught on a more one on one basis as the class size is small. He can excel in classes that are easier for him and get help in the classes that are more difficult for him." — Susan Martin
"Emmanuel Redeemer has helped me grow in my education and God's Word! Everyday I use the tools that I have learned at this school to apply them in my life! I am thankful for the wonderful teachers and ministers that have helped me grow into a strong Christian." — Mallory Hall
"Emanuel Redeemer Lutheran School provided a great educational and spiritual foundation for me. I attended for 8 years and upon entry into high school felt well prepared to handle all academic and social challenges that arose. The small class size and personal attention provided a safe and efficient classroom setting for optimal learning. And, we had a lot of fun along the way! There were some epic sports battles between us classmates and our teacher. It was a great environment to grow up in and I highly recommend the school." — Mark Priess
