New Worship day and time!
We are here to serve you with the gospel whether you worship with us in-person or online. The church doors are open for you to worship with us on Sunday at 1pm beginning February 26, 2023. Bible Class will follow the service.
Worship services are livestreamed on our YouTube page. Recordings of the livestreamed service will remain on YouTube for those who desire to worship with us at home at a different time.
Please check our calendar before driving to church as the schedule could change. We are currently without a pastor of our own. During this vacancy, Pastor Aaron Duve from Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church in Port Huron is serving as our vacancy pastor.
Emanuel Redeemer is a part of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod or WELS. The WELS is a church body with congregations in all fifty states and missionaries in 25 countries.
Our Beliefs
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and contains no errors.
2 Timothy 3:16 – “All Scripture is God breathed.”
2 Peter 1:21 – “Men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.”
We believe in the Triune God; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Matthew 28:19 – Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
We believe the Father created mankind sinless, but man rebelled against God and brought sin and evil into the world.
Romans 5:12 – Sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned.
We believe that all therefore are born sinful, helpless to save ourselves, and deserve only condemnation.
Psalm 51:5 – Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
We believe the Father loved us so much that He prepared a way of salvation for us and sent His Son to suffer and die for our sin.
John 3:16 – For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Romans 5:8 – But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
We believe that Jesus Christ freed us from sin by His perfect life, innocent suffering, death on the cross, and resurrection from the dead.
2 Corinthians 5:19,21 – God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them…God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
We believe that this forgiveness of sins and salvation is a gift from God that he gives to us by faith. We believe that it is only by the work of the Holy Spirit through the Word of God that faith is created in our hearts.
Romans 10:17 – Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.
Ephesians 2:8, 9 – It is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast.
Our love for God and deep gratitude for all He has done compels us to serve Him and each other and moves us to share the Good News with a confused and uneasy world.
2 Corinthians 5:14 – For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died and was raised again.
